My sarcasm is scathing. There's a huge mucky puddle near the front door and I get the feeling I'm going to have to be the one to clean it up.

Being stuck behind the bar all day and having to listen to The Celestina Warbeck five house special on the WWN. I hate my job.

If I am not suicidal by six o'clock tonight anyone want to go out somewhere that doesn't play Celestina Warbeck songs constantly?
Come on, I've got a whole...four extra sickles to blow this week. I'm going to consider myself rich.

There’s some other stuff in the lost and found that I just don’t get how people can leave behind. There’s a shoe here. I mean, you’d notice if you’d left your shoe somewhere, right?

Well, that was a success. Thanks for the idea, Professor Vector. Mam loved it. She thought it was right thoughtful. And so I'm off the hook for another year!

Party was fun though. And it was nice to go home for a bit. But I seem to have gotten myself an exponential growth of aunts that like to pinch my cheeks and constantly feel the need to proclaim how big I've gotten.

Yes, okay, I'm short. As if I don't get enough of these digs normally. Don't need my aunts doing it too.

I’m going home to visit me mam this week. It’s her and Dad’s 25th wedding anniversary. That’s the silver, right? I think it is. I’m not very good with these celebration things. I’ll need to get them a present.
It’s times like this I wish I had a brother or sister to fob off present buying responsibilities to. My presents are always rubbish. Ah well, it’s the thought that counts, eh?

I think they’re having a whole family knees up. Great. Should be fun, not seen anyone in a while. I need to find my good shirt though. Dean? Did I let you borrow it last month? I can’t find my shoes either. No, wait. That a lie. I can find one of them. Where the hell the other one’s gone, I have no idea.

Ah, hell, I’ll just go shirtless, shoeless, and present less. Talk of the party, that’ll be.
